Imagine a world of healthy, whole, and flourishing people, where you and everyone else can live a fulfilling and meaningful life supported and connected to community. A world that is beautiful, comfortable, equitable, and sustainable. This would be a living world.
The ideas needed to build a better world are already in circulation. There are so many amazing possibilities. Learning about these ideas won’t solve the problems, but expanding our imaginations is a good step in the right direction. We can’t make a new world until we can imagine it.
About the project
The goal of this newsletter is to share ideas and examples of economic democracy with people who are not otherwise engaged with the work. By describing ideas without jargon or partisan-coded language, and by connecting them to every-day problems and experiences, I want to help people see that there are so many more positive possibilities than appear in most political discussions. This project is about shifting common sense. The newsletter has a small, though growing, audience of enthusiastic readers. I am currently researching and writing a new “season” of issues.
